Regenerating a scene — script, objectives, topics, all
How the per-scene regenerate menu works and when to use each option.
Each scene in the editor has a Regenerate menu (look for the magic-wand icon in the scene header). It offers four scopes:
- Script — rewrites the narration but preserves the canvas. Use when the visuals are right but the wording is off.
- Objectives — replaces the learning objectives panel. Useful after you've reshaped the course outline.
- Topics — re-derives the topic chips for the scene from its current script. Drives the table of contents on the runtime player.
- Everything — regenerates the whole scene from scratch using the prompt + course context. Replaces both visuals and script; can take a minute.
Regeneration always uses the latest course settings: principle, language, source materials. Lock a scene (the padlock icon) to exclude it from the batch "Generate everything" run.
