Both make SCORM. One generates it.
ScormStack is a polished block-based authoring tool. Coursentials is AI-first: a one-line prompt becomes a narrated, animated course before you've finished writing the outline. Plus full LTI 1.3 Advantage that ScormStack doesn't ship.

Where ScormStack wins.
- Mature block library.
25+ polished blocks: accordion, tabs, flashcards, click-on-image, fill-in-the-blank. We have ~15 today; the gap closes through Q3 but credit where it's due.
- XLIFF translation workflows.
XLIFF round-trip is a real production feature today. Our XLIFF export ships Q3 alongside the multilingual generation pass.
- PDF viewer block + Web simulation block.
Specific blocks we don't have yet. Reach out if these are deal-breakers — both are on the roadmap.
Where Coursentials wins.
- AI from brief to live, not just per-block help.
ScormStack's AI assists inside blocks. Our wizard generates the whole course — outline, scripts, narration, layouts — before you touch the editor.
- Narration that knows what it's saying.
WhisperX forced alignment marks every spoken word's appearance time. Visual cues sync to the script automatically. ScormStack ships captions; we ship time-aware visuals.
- Full LTI 1.3 Advantage.
Deep Linking + AGS grade passback + Dynamic Registration. ScormStack doesn't support LTI today. If your distribution channel is an LMS, this changes the math.
- Pixel-precise canvas when blocks aren't enough.
Process diagrams, interactive maps, branching simulations, anything with absolute positioning — we do it. Block-only tools don't.
At a glance.
Common questions.
Can I migrate my ScormStack courses?
Direct import isn't available — the schemas differ. Publish your ScormStack courses as SCORM zips and either keep them as legacy in your LMS, or rebuild scene-by-scene. For larger libraries, talk to sales.
Does Coursentials have ScormStack's 25 blocks?
We ship ~15 today with 5–8 more landing through Q3. The block-output mode (block-driven responsive course style) ships at the same time.
What if I need XLIFF NOW?
XLIFF export ships Q3. If it's a deal-breaker, stay on ScormStack until then or contact us — early-access slots are available.
Is your AI really different from ScormStack's AI Assistant?
Different scope. Their AI Assistant helps inside blocks. Our wizard outputs the whole course in one pass. Both have value; the size of "AI is doing" is what differs.
Ship your next course in hours, not weeks.
